What documents can be accepted for right to work in Austria?
To perform a right to work check in Austria, the following documents can be accepted:
Natural Austrian citizens
Austrian passport
EEA and Swiss passports
National ID card
Certificate of Citizenship
Birth certificate showing the nationality of both parents
Foreign citizens
EEA + Swiss citizens:
National ID card
Other citizens:
Resident permit for purpose of family reunification
Rot-Weiss-rot card
Rot-weiss-rot plus card
Rot-Weiss-rot car plus for graduates
EU Blue Card issued by the Austrian Department of Migration or any other EU Member State so long as you resided in said country at least 18 months prior to moving to Austria
