To perform a right to work check in Sweden, the following documents can be accepted: 

Natural Swedish  citizens
Swedish passport
EEA + Swiss passport
National ID card
Birth cert. showing at least one parent's Swedish nationality

Foreign citizens 
EEA + Swiss:
National ID card
EU Resident permit
Non EEA + Swiss:
Work holiday visa
Work permit
EU long-term resident permit holders
EU blue card
Refugee resident permit
Asylum resident permit
