What documents can be accepted for right to work in South Africa?

To perform a right to work check in South Africa, the following documents can be accepted: 

Natural South African citizens
South African passport
National ID card

Foreign citizens 
Work permit (scanned copy acceptable)
Perm or temp residency permit (scanned copy acceptable)
Asylum seeker or Refuge permit (scanned copy acceptable)
Visitor Visa section 11(6) (scanned copy acceptable)
