What documents can be accepted for right to work in Portugal?

To perform a right to work check in Portugal, the following documents can be accepted: 

Natural Portuguese citizens
Portuguese passport
EEA and Swiss passports
National ID card

Foreign citizens 
EEA and Swiss citizens: Identity card

Non-EEA citizens:
Work permit A, B or C
