What documents can be accepted for right to work in the Netherlands?

To perform a right to work check in the Netherlands, the following documents can be accepted: 

Natural Dutch citizens
Dutch passport
EEA and Swiss passports
National ID card

Foreign citizens 
EEA and Swiss citizens: Identity card

Non-EEA and Swiss citizens:
Residence permit
Work permit
