What documents can be accepted for right to work in Ireland?

To perform a right to work check in Ireland, the following documents can be accepted: 

Natural Irish citizens
Irish passport
EEA and Swiss passports
National Identity card 

Foreign citizens 
EEA and Swiss citizens:
Identity cards
EU 1 - Residence Card
EU 2 - Perm residence Card
EU 3 - Perm residence card for Non-EU Families

Non-EEA and Swiss citizens:
General employment permit
Long-term residence permit
Critical Skills employment permit
