What can I use as proof of address for my DBS check?
You must provide a live photo of a physical, original document. Screenshots, scans, PDFs and documents printed from the internet can not be accepted as per the DBS guidelines.
We can accept the following documents:
- Driver's license (only if this wasn't used for your ID check.)
- Mortgage statement (issued in the past 12 months)
- Credit card statement (issued in the past 3 months)
- Bank statement (issued in the past 3 months)
- Utility Bill (issued in the past 3 months)
- P45/P60 (issued in the past 12 months)
- Financial statement, for example, pension or endowment (issued in the past 12 months)
- Council tax statement (issued in the past 12 months)
- Benefits statement, for example, Child Benefit, pension (issued in the past 3 months)
- Central or local government, government agency, or local council document giving entitlement, for example from the Department for Work and Pensions, the Employment Service, HMRC (issued in the past 3 months)
- Cards carrying the PASS accreditation logo
