What is a Qualification check?

What is a qualification check?

It's a verification process that confirms an applicant's academic or professional memberships or certifications. You can use this to verify qualifications stated on an applicant's resume or job application. This check is commonly done by all forms of businesses as part of a broader background screening process.

What is the qualification check process?

  1. Configure your requirements: you can choose to verify any number of academic or professional qualifications. Choose your preferences on your packages page, each check incurs a cost.
  2. Request your checks: request the checks from your Zinc account or ATS.
  3. Request for Verification: Once the applicant provides consent, Zinc will request verification of the qualifications from the relevant institutions. This could include reaching out to schools, universities, professional organizations, or any other entity that can verify the claimed qualifications.

  4. Documentation Review: In some cases, the verification process may require the applicant to provide additional documents like transcripts, diplomas, or certificates.

  5. Reporting: After completing the verification process, Zinc will report its findings on the candidate report. The report will indicate whether the applicant's qualifications have been verified and will highlight any discrepancies in the qualification.
