With the latest Zinc update, you can now get a more detailed look at how each check is progressing.
There are 4 distinct sections in the Check Progress section:
- Not started
- Awaiting candidate info
- Awaiting verification
- Completed
Check statuses
Not started
These are checks that candidates have not started yet.
Awaiting candidate info
When this happens, the check will fail and a new status awaiting candidate info will appear alongside the pending status on the Request page.
In the Report, the status will also appear in the Check Progress section, which expands to show the timeline of how many times the candidate has been chased to provide the required document.
Awaiting verification
This section includes any checks that have been submitted by the candidates and are currently being processed.
Completed
Any checks that have come back with results will appear under the Completed section.
What happens when the candidate provides the required document?
When the candidate has provided the required document, the check status will update to awaiting verification.
What happens when the candidate doesn’t respond to Zinc emails?
If the candidate doesn’t respond to Zinc and there hasn’t been any activity for a week, we’ll notify you and update the request status to inactive.
