How do I request Character Reference as a Regulatory Reference fallback?
In your Package Editor, you can specify the type of references you'd like candidates to complete. The three types offered are Employment Verification, Professional References, and Regulatory References.
However, not all candidates can provide the requested reference type, specifically Regulatory References.
If you would like to accept an alternative, you can now switch on Character Reference as a fallback when selecting Regulatory References.
This can be done in your Package Editor:
- If Regulatory Reference is switched on, select the number of references as the criteria
- Turn on the Character Reference toggle
Candidates who aren't able to provide Regulatory References will now be directed to complete Character References, which will give you all the information you need in your hiring process.
