Does Zinc collect consent from candidates before commencing background checks?
Yes, candidates are required to provide their explicit consent to undergo background checks through the Zinc service. Further, candidates can be directed to a more in-depth consent notice which explains in detail how we use their data, why we use it, how long it is stored for and whom to contact if they need to make a Subject Access Request (SAR).
