Hand over the headache of rechecks to Zinc
Say goodbye to a manual rechecking process — we’ve introduced a new recheck feature that will allow you to automate your recheck process. Save hours of admin and stress by handing over your recheck headaches to Zinc.
Pre employment: set recheck reminders on packages
Zinc now enables you to add candidates to your recheck schedule by setting a recheck frequency on packages.
Select how often you want to recheck employees on the package when you are doing your pre-employment check. You can do this when you first create a package, or in the Package Editor.
Don't worry you can select a different package when you come to send the recheck. Setting a recheck frequency on your package will add candidates to your recheck schedule and remind you to start your rechecks on your defined frequency.
Recheck schedule:
Candidates or employees checked using a package with a recheck reminder on will automatically go into the Recheck Schedule. By default, we’ll display those who are due to be rechecked in the next 2 months.
You’ll be able to review the list and send a recheck request with just one click. If you need to make multiple edits, you can now select multiple people and apply your changes instantly.
Stay up to date on who’s due a recheck
With the Recheck Schedule, you can get live updates on who’s due a recheck. In addition to that, we’ll also send you recheck summary emails every month, so you can stay on top of your recheck tasks.
What happens after the requests are sent
Once the recheck requests are sent, they will go into the Request page, where you can track the progress of the checks — as you would with pre-employment check requests.
As before, anyone checked with a recheck package will automatically be entered into the Recheck Schedule, so you never have to worry about manually entering employees again.
Current employees: organise current employees rechecks
You no longer have to rely on reminders in your calendar and running reports in your HRIS. Hand over all of that admin and headache to Zinc.
Uploading CSV for current employees
We’ve heard from you that you've been tracking employees rechecking in a spreadsheet. We felt your pain and knew that wasn't the best way to work. You can now upload a CSV file of employees in one go and set a future recheck date.
Everyone on the list will immediately be entered into the queue as soon as the requests are sent.
You’ll always have visibility on your employees. If they’re due to be rechecked, you’ll be able to review them in the Recheck Schedule. Once the requests are sent, you’ll be able to track their progress in the Request page.
