What is the process in the Brazil?
If a candidate is working remotely from Brazil but are hired by an international company without any legal attachment to any Brazilian company, they will be under the employment law of the company they work for.
By Brazilian law, it’s illegal to request a criminal check for employment outside of certain job roles. It’s also illegal to do a credit check and ask for more than 6 months of previous experience in the role.

- Workers who deal with toxic substances, narcotics and weapons

What details are required to submit the check?
- Fiscal Declaration Number (CPF (an 11-digit number in the format 000.000.000-0)
- Father's first & last name
- Mother's first & last name
- Passport/ID copy
