What Does the ‘In Progress’ Request Status Mean?

The grey 'In progress' status means that the candidate has submitted all of the required information for the checks, and they are being processed by Zinc or one of the third-party bodies verifying the information.

When you see this status, you do not need to worry about following up with the candidate.

To find out when you can expect the checks to be returned, you can have a look at the status panel by clicking the  button on the candidate's report or by clicking on the row of the particular candidate on the request page.

You will see the above 'In progress' rectangle on the top of the individual candidate reports, and you'll see the below 'In progress' rectangle on the request page.
