What Does the ‘Additional info requested’ Status Mean?

The blue "Additional info requested" status indicates that we are currently waiting for the candidate to provide further information needed to process this check.

This status means the candidate initially submitted the required information for the check. However, due to either the source of the check, Zinc, or the information provided being non-compliant, we have reached out to the candidate for additional details and are awaiting their response.

The candidate would have received an automated email or been contacted by our Customer Support team.

For example:

• A criminal check may require the candidate to submit additional documentation to our Customer Support team in order to proceed.
• An education check may fail to be verified via our certificate matching service, requiring the candidate to return to Zinc and provide more information so we can verify the details directly with the institution.
