What Does The ‘Action Required’ Status Mean?

The red 'Action required' status on a check indicates that this check requires some action from the requesting party, the organisation requesting the checks.

For example:

• An identity check which has reached certain states where we need the requesting party to step in and choose the next steps. 
• The candidate has submitted their criminal check using the Update Service flow and will require the requesting party to step in and choose the next steps. 

This status will be shown when the check is not yet complete but some action is required in order for the check to get to a completed state or proceed with the check.
