Setting Up Cifas Checks

Can anyone use Cifas checks?

No, your company must be a member of the Cifas Insider Threat Database

How do I start using these checks?

To start sending Cifas checks you'll have to set up the membership integration. You'll only need to do this once.

1. Open your Company settings in the bottom left corner of Zinc
   
   
   
2. Select 'Setup integration' in the Membership integrations section 
   
   
3. Add your membership number, this is visible in your Cifas portal
   
   
4. Contact Cifas to allow Zinc to conduct Cifas checks on your behalf. Email Cifas at memberexperiencehub@cifas.org.uk with the following message and CC your account manager:
   
   "Please give vetting specialist Zinc (1631) search permissions to membership number insert your Cifas membership number through Cifas API."
   
   
5. Cifas typically actions these requests within 1-2 working days, once actioned you'll be able to add Cifas checks to your packages
