Can anyone use Cifas checks?
No, your company must be a member of the Cifas Insider Threat Database
How do I start using these checks?
To start sending Cifas checks you'll have to set up the membership integration. You'll only need to do this once.
- Open your Company settings in the bottom left corner of Zinc
- Select 'Setup integration' in the Membership integrations sectionÂ
- Add your membership number, this is visible in your Cifas portal
- Contact Cifas to allow Zinc to conduct Cifas checks on your behalf. Email Cifas at memberexperiencehub@cifas.org.uk with the following message and CC your account manager:
"Please give vetting specialist Zinc (1631) search permissions to membership number insert your Cifas membership number through Cifas API."
- Cifas typically actions these requests within 1-2 working days, once actioned you'll be able to add Cifas checks to your packages
