All of the data points in the reporting section are tables.

- Resize: You can resize any column by hovering over the border of the column, click & drag.
- Sort: You can sort by any column by clicking the header row (top one in green).
Candidate Data
The first tab you land on “candidate data”, exposes a granular level of candidate data that candidates submit in checks, and that comes back in results.
Right to work check
This report gives you all right to work checks that have been requested in your account. They will provide you with a check status. And all the information on what they can it has submitted for the check (for instance, a passport or birth certificate and National Insurance number). It will tell you at a granular level all of the details that come back in results (such as visa expiry dates, document nationality expiry dates of documents etc).
Common use cases:
- Uploading candidate right to work data into another place of storage. For example into your HRIS to store this data long term.
Criminal check
Similar to the above right to work table, this table will provide you with a list of all the criminal record checks that have been conducted in your account, including full details of all the pieces of information that have been submitted that we save on Zinc, and all of the pieces of information that come back on the check. It includes a log of the workforce types that have been conducted, date stamps of the check results, and all of the information that's returned on the criminal check.
Common use cases:
- Downloading DBS information to upload into other systems for audits.
Reference checks
Similar to the above, this table provides a report for detailed information on your references. Where it's different is that each row on this table represents one reference, so one candidate might have multiple rows on this table. The report will display all of the information that's come back from the reference bar, the reference itself (which is encrypted), and it will provide information on the referee.
Common use cases:
- Doing some analysis on referees that are common for certain types of jobs, or finding referees which are unsuitable where you want to request more references.
Status Report
The second tab along is: status reports. They are typically to share with stakeholders that do not have access to the Zinc account. They give you a snapshot of where checks are at in regards to particular candidate or check statuses.
All Checks:
This top report at the top of the reports page is an overall request report for each candidate. Each row shows all of the checks that have been requested for that candidate and their status for each of those. You can also see timestamps for when the request was sent, when the candidate started and timestamps for each check. If a timestamp is missing any any row, this means the check hasn’t been submitted yet.
Common use cases:
- Share a report with stakeholders who don’t have access to Zinc’s request page of all live checks. Or all completed checks, as a progress update.
- You could sort by pending checks for an individual check to bring up a list of checks with a certain status.
Cancelled checks:
This table displays a list of all the candidates that have been cancelled in your account. It will tell you the package that was requested, the date that it was requested, and it will tell you the which checks were requested as part of that package. It doesn't tell you the date that it was cancelled because we do not store that. You can't see cancelled checks on your Request page or anywhere else in Zinc since once they're cancelled they're removed. This is now the only place that you can see this information.
Common use cases:
- Sharing with other stakeholders to ensure you’ve removed checks for all candidates that have withdrawn.
