Does Zinc Have Access to my HMRC Login?

To use the Employment Verification feature, Zinc is partnered with Mistho, who have built a direct API integration with the HMRC.

When you enter your HMRC login details on Zinc, it is functionally equivalent to entering your login details directly into the HMRC portal in a pop-up window.

Although you are interacting with the Zinc interface, the underlying system is directly linked to the HMRC and Zinc does not store or process your login details.

Additionally, Mistho uses a session-based verification process in which they also never store your login details. The only data pulled from the HMRC by Mistho is your employment and income data which is then passed to Zinc and appears in the report and specifically enabled in our configuration.
