How to Integrate Zinc with Workday

Step 1 - Create ISU user in Workday:

• Create an integration system user (ISU) with the Create integration system user task in Workday. Name the user Zinc ISU

Step 2 - Create security group:

• Create an Integration System Security Group, with the ”Create Security Group” task in Workday.
• For Type select Integration System Security Group (Unconstrained) and add all the relevant permissions. Call the Security Group Zinc ISSG, and select Zinc ISU as the Integration System User in the final step

Step 3 - Create an API client for integrations:

• Create an API client with the Register API Client For Integrations task. Call the client Zinc API Client, provide it with the necessary scopes (we'll have a list). Select non-expiring refresh token and make a note of the client ID and client secret.
• Attach the Zinc ISU to the Zinc API Client, by running the View API Clients task, selecting the API Clients for Integrations tab, choosing Zinc API Client, from the related actions selecting Manage Refresh Tokens for Integrations, and Zinc ISU as the User and generate a new refresh token

Step 4 - Input credentials into Zinc:

• With the client ID, client secret and refresh token, head to the Zinc settings page to input the credentials.
• Add API base path by entering your Tenant Host name and Partner Domain
