How to Integrate Zinc with Workable

Step 1: Generate Your API Key
- Create a Zinc account and enter your payment details. If you already have an account, simply sign in with your credentials.
- On the Company Settings page in Zinc, click "Generate API Key" and copy the key.
Step 2: Add the Zinc Key to Workable
- Navigate to your Workable integrations page.
- Find Zinc under "Background Checks".
- Paste your Zinc API key into your Workable account and click "Update Settings".
Step 3: Build Your Check Packages
Custom build as many check packages as you need. Choose from pre-written reference questions or create your own. Your packages will be immediately available in Workable.
Step 4: Perform a Background Check
- From the Candidates page, select the "More Actions" (three dots) menu.
- From the dropdown, select "Perform Background Check" and choose the appropriate check package for that candidate.
What Happens Next
Let Zinc work
Zinc will contact your candidate via email and text, asking them to complete the background checks you have chosen. We will send automated reminders to ensure that you get your checks in good time.
Track the progress
You can view the status of each candidate’s checks in your ATS. We’ll notify you by email as soon as an individual check is completed..
