How to Integrate Zinc with Workday
Step 1: Generate Your API Key
- Create a Zinc account and go to the Company Settings page in Zinc. If you already have an account, simply sign in with your credentials.
- Click on the Company tab, select Integrations, and choose Workday.
- Click on the Magic Link button to receive the link via email.
Step 2: Add Workday Details
The magic link will redirect you to a form. Complete this form with your Workday details, and we'll set up the integration.
Step 3: Customise Your Checks
Decide with your account manager which checks you'd like to conduct, and at which stage you want them to run, depending on your company's needs and customise any reference questions.
You can create multiple packages which you can access directly from Workday.
Step 4: Trigger Zinc
Once everything is set up, Zinc will trigger when candidates land at your chosen stage.
The first check package you created will be sent unless the relevant tags are added.

Zinc will contact your candidate via email and text, asking them to complete the background checks you have chosen. We will send automated reminders to ensure that you get your checks in good time.
Track the progress
You can view the status of each candidate’s checks in your ATS. We’ll notify you by email as soon as an individual check is completed..
