How to Integrate Zinc with Teamtailor

Step 1: Generate API Key from Teamtailor
- Log in to your Teamtailor account and click on Marketplace.
- In the Marketplace, search for Zinc and click the Activate button to reveal your API key.
Step 2: Add the Key to Zinc
- In Zinc, click on the Settings icon (bottom-left of your account).
- After adding your payment details, you'll see the Company tab. Scroll to "Add API Key" and paste your Teamtailor API key there.
Step 3: Customise Your Checks
Decide with your Zinc account manager which checks you'd like to conduct depending on your company’s needs and customise any reference questions.
You can create multiple packages which you can access directly from Teamtailor.
Step 4: Add Zinc as a Trigger
- In a Teamtailor job, go to Triggers and add "Send Reference, Zinc".
- Choose the check package you want to use and, optionally, write a personalized note.
- When a candidate reaches that stage, the check request will be triggered automatically.

Let Zinc work
Zinc will contact your candidate via email and text, asking them to complete the background checks you have chosen. We will send automated reminders to ensure that you get your checks in good time.
Track the progress
You can view the status of each candidate’s checks in your ATS. We’ll notify you by email as soon as an individual check is completed..
