Once you have your rechecks setup in Zinc, they will run in the background, organising the employees that need to be rechecked and when. We don't want you to have to review and refine the list of employees that are still employed during each recheck. We heard stories from customers saying this took hours each quarter and was a painstaking process. Which is why you have the option to automatically remove employees from your recheck list when terminated, with the extended HiBob integration. Once you have this setup, rechecks are a breeze, you can just click go for each batch of rechecks, safe in the knowledge Zinc is ensuring they go to the right people. Here's how you switch it on:
1. Connect the HiBob HRIS integration
Connect the HiBob HRIS integration by going to your Company page in Zinc: https://app.zincwork.com/company/general. See further instructions here.
2. Click 'Sync employee updates'
Once you have finished the HiBob integration to upload your completed checks to Zinc, select: "sync employee updates".
3. Click 'Copy'
Copy the Webhook from your Zinc account, this looks like a URL. Then paste into into the Webhooks section of your Bob account: Go to Settings Integrations Webhooks Add a New Subscriber.
3. Select events for the Webhook in HiBob
In HiBob, choose 'add a new subscriber' and select: select 'Employee created' and 'Employee terminated' under Events. 'All employees' under Who to listen for.
4. Add Secret key into Zinc
Click the 'more' menu and select 'View activity' to copy the secret key in HiBob. Then paste this into Zinc.
5. Send a test event to Zinc
In Bob, Select Test in the menu, and you should see a 'Test successfully sent' toast message. If you see a success message, then you have successfully added the webhook.
Recheck schedule:
Candidates or employees checked using a package with a recheck reminder on will automatically go into the Recheck Schedule. By default, we’ll display those who are due to be rechecked in the next 2 months.
You’ll be able to review the list and send a recheck request with just one click. If you need to make multiple edits, you can now select multiple people and apply your changes instantly.
Stay up to date on who’s due a recheck
With the Recheck Schedule, you can get live updates on who’s due a recheck. In addition to that, we’ll also send you recheck summary emails every month, so you can stay on top of your recheck tasks.
What happens after the requests are sent
Once the recheck requests are sent, they will go into the Request page, where you can track the progress of the checks — as you would with pre-employment check requests.
As before, anyone checked with a recheck package will automatically be entered into the Recheck Schedule, so you never have to worry about manually entering employees again.
